BenchFlow · type department

Type Bureau39 faces, 6 real sites.

A working gallery for choosing a typeface. Proof every face at size, then apply it to the actual BenchFlow product pages — served from this workspace, not mocked up — and see whether it survives a leaderboard, a dense dashboard and a hero at the same time.

SourcesGoogle Fonts and Fontshare only. Every family is OFL, Apache 2.0 or the ITF Free Font License — no trial binaries, nothing that cannot ship.
Stand-insRetail families you named — Die Grotesk, Matter, Season VF, Halvar Mono, Neue Haas Unica — are represented by the closest free equivalent, named on the card.
VerificationEach face is checked by rendered-metric comparison against three generic stacks. Anything that falls back is labelled, not hidden.

Type catalogue

/specimens/

All 39 families as full-width proofs. Set your own text, size and tracking; open a weight ladder that can align families optically rather than by nominal number, so Satoshi 500 and Clash 500 actually match on the page.

Wordmark lab

/wordmark/ · was /07-benchflow-wordmark/

The BenchFlow lockup drawn in every face at one uniform mark size, with the mark and the wordmark on independent sliders. Sign in with a handle, pick your favourites, and rank them — or switch rankings off entirely.

Rebrand

/rebrand/

One identity across SkillsBench, ClawsBench, PostTrain Arena and the runtime — all of them routes under benchflow.ai. The original BenchFlow layout on a beige ground with the SkillsBench clay as the only pop. The teal is gone.

The sites being restyled

Served from this workspace at stable routes so the frames are same-origin and the type actually swaps. Each links out to the production site it reproduces.

How to read the gallery

Stand-in, not substitute

Die Grotesk, Foundry Aeterna, KTF Prima, Crit, CoFo Robert Sans, Detail, Aeonik Soft, CcTimeline, Solaflare, GT Mechanik, Halvar Mono and Unifora are retail families. Their cards name a free face with the same job, so you can judge the direction before you license anything.

Roles are enforced

A fixed-width face drives headings, code and data but never body copy; a display cut drives headlines only. That rule is in one place — fontlab.js — so no page can quietly set a mono as its paragraph font.

Honest status

The chip in the top bar counts faces that measurably rendered. If a CDN is unreachable it says so and offers a reload instead of claiming success — and any face that fell back is greyed out wherever it appears.

Both themes

Every route and every replica is designed light and dark. The bar toggle cycles auto → light → dark and overrides the OS preference in both directions.
